Lite Chocolate Trifle Cups

Happy cups of lightened up chocolate cake layered with Truwhip cream
  • 1-3/4 c. dry chocolate cake mix
  • ¼ c. egg substitute
  • ¾ c. diet cream, cola, raspberry, or orande soda
  • 3 c. truwhip non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
  • Optional toppings:
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Chocolate curls
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9" x 9" pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Whisk together cake mix, egg substitute and soda in a mixing bowl until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool.
  3. Cut cake into 12 pieces. In each of 12 dessert cups, layer 2 T. truwhip, 1 crumbled cake piece, 2 T. truwhip. Top with berries or chocolate curls if desired.
  4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
